Janome 634D - TO ADJUST THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN NEEDLES AND FIXED NEEDLE GUARD

TO ADJUST THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN NEEDLES
AND FIXED NEEDLE GUARD
The clearance between needle (B) and the fixed needle guard (C) should be 0.1 to 0.4 mm (D).
To adjust:
1. Remove the foot and the needle plate and lower the needle to its lowest position.
2. Loosen the setscrew (A) and adjust the position of the fixed needle guard (C).
When needle position setting knob is set at “S”, the fixed needle guard (C) should touch (F)
the chaining-off finger (E) as shown below
3. Tighten the setscrew (A).
4. Attach the needle plate and the foot.
