Automatic Needle Threader
z Raise the needle to its highest position by pressing
the needle Up/Down button twice.
Raise the presser foot.
Depress the needle threader knob as far as it will
go. The hook comes out through the needle eye
from behind.

x Draw the thread down around the threader guide
and under the hook.
e Threader guide
c Release the threader knob slowly while holding the
thread end with your hand. A loop of the thread is
pulled up through the needle eye.
v Carefully remove the loop from the threader and
pull out the thread end from the needle eye.
NOTE:
The automatic threader works well with the threads
#50–100 and needles #11–16, the blue tipped
needle as well.
Drawing Up Bobbin Thread
z Raise the presser foot and hold the needle thread
with your fingers.
x Press the needle Up/Down button twice to raise the
needle to its highest position. Pull the needle
thread to pick up a loop of the bobbin thread.

e Needle Up/Down button
c Draw 10 cm (4") of both threads to the back under
the presser foot.
