PLUMBING SYSTEM
1. Make sure all holding tanks are empty and all drain valves are OPEN.
2. Run the water pump until it is dry, this will take approximately 15-20 seconds.
3. OPEN all faucets and drains, including outside shower faucets (if so equipped) and
KROGWKHÀXVKOHYHURSHQRQWKHWRLOHW
4. Set the valves to the CITY WATER setting. Attach a blowout plug to the city water

5. Pour one cup of non-toxic RV antifreeze into any/all drain P-traps. (bathtub, sinks and
toilet).
RV Antifreeze Method
It may be easier to winterize the RV with another person to assist you.

1. Turn the water heater power switches OFF (electric and gas). The water heater will be
automatically bypassed through the valve settings on the utility center.
2. Level the RV and drain the fresh water plumbing system. (See Draining the Fresh Water
System)

4. The water heater should be empty after performing Step 2.
5. Make sure the “fresh water tank drain” and “low point drains” are closed.

inlet and insert the other end of the hose in a container of antifreeze. Turn the pump

Automotive antifreeze (ethylene glycol) and windshield washer antifreeze
(methanol) are poisonous. Never use these products in your fresh water
system. These products are harmful and may be fatal if swallowed.
