Though you can leave the MS-8 RF remote control unmounted, JBL supplies two mounting
provisions to secure the remote, making it safe and convenient to operate. Since the remote
operates via radio frequency, it is not necessary to aim the remote while using it. NOTE: You can
also mount the remote to a convenient surface using a Velcro
®
strip (not supplied), which allows
you to remove the remote to change the battery.
Before mounting the remote
Remove its battery-protection strip by pulling it out in the direction indicated by the arrow.
