Storage
Note the following points when preparing the Trencher for
long term storage.
1 Ensure that the storage area is dry.
2 Remove the attachment from the carrier.
3 Liberally coat the exposed areas with grease.
4 Seal off the hose connections to prevent ingress of
dirt and moisture.
5 Store the trencher with the boom horizontal and
resting on the ground.
6 Make sure the trencher is supported where necessary.
7 If the trencher remains unused for six consecutive
months, the attachment must be overhauled before
use.
