CONTROL
It is possible to produce a complete rotational
system by interfacing the 9629 control with an
arc length control and with a 9640 controlled
rotational xture. This creates a completely in-
tegrated welding system where the operation of
the start button on the 9640 control initiates the
start of the weld sequence. The preset start time
delays which have been set on the 9640 rotation
control, 9629 wire feed control and 9690 arc
length control operate automatically to provide
coordinated start of the various parameters. At
the end of the weld, operation of the 9640 stop
push-button initiates a controlled end of weld
sequence with downslope and wire and travel
stop delays.

S2: 9629 to 9640 control
Cable: 9600S2-S2-3
S3: 9629 to wire drive motor
Cable: Included with wire feed head
