16- When working on slopes, take the following
precautions to maintain the firmness and stability to the
tractor:
Ÿ Use the correct ballasting the tractor;
Ÿ Practice speed compatible in every situation. On
downhills, always use the gear that would be used to
climb. Attach the brake pedal;
Ÿ Do not move the tractor toward the uphill side, but in
order to move up or down.
17- Always use the IPE (Individual Protection
Equipment) when operating the machine:
1- Gloves;
2- Auricular protection;
3- Glasses;
4- Boots;
5- Appropriated clothes.
Warning:
Whenever there is an instruction manual
instructing the operator to turn off the
machine and disengage the tractor PTO,
the PTO procedure for replacement and
reconnecting of the machine should occur
only at the end of the operation.
