Filters
This unit may be equipped with an optional 1” or 2”
throwaway lter, which should be replaced on a reg-
ular basis. The time interval between each replace-
ment should be established based on regular inspec-
tion of the lter, and should be recorded in the log for
each unit. At a minimum, lters should be inspected
monthly and replaced if needed. Refer to the Filters
Chart for recommended lter size for each product
type and size.
If the replacement lters are not purchased from the
factory, the lters used should be the same type, size
and MERV rating as that furnished from or recom-
mended by the factory.
Optional 1” and 2” pleated lters are available and
can be used in this unit. 1” or 2” lter clips can be
purchased, and will need to be used accordingly.
Changing lter thickness and type can change static
pressure. Contact the local Sales Representative for
the correct lter upgrade specication, lter clips, and
availability.
Filter Replacement
The optional lter is held in place by three (3) lter
clips. To replace the lter, rotate the lter clips 180-de-
grees, and pull the lter away from the unit. Replace
with a new lter, and once in place, rotate the lter
clips 180-degrees back to their original position.
