(1) Open the at panel.
Hold both sides of the at panel and lift it up.
(2) Remove the air lter.
Release the two (2) catches and pull the air
lter downward to remove it.
(3) Clean the air lter.
•
Wash the lter with mild soap and warm water
or vacuum-clean.
•
Dry the air lter in the shade.
NOTE
• Do not use water warmer than 122°F (50°C). Air
lter element can be damaged.
• Do not dry the air lter by holding it over open
ame, with a hair dryer, or any type of heating
device. Filter elements can be damaged by heat.
Raise the at panel until it locks into open
position. Otherwise, the at panel closes and it
may cause injury.
(5) Reset the lter sign.
•
Press “Menu”.
Select “Reset Filter Sign Time” from the menu
and press “OK”.
The conrmation screen is displayed.
•
Select “Yes” by pressing “
” or “ ” and
press “OK”.
The “FLTR” indication is turned OFF and the
screen will return to the normal mode.
NOTE
If the default time period for lter cleaning has not
been set, the indication “ ” appears and “Setting
Disabled” is displayed.

Point the transmitter toward the receiver and
press “Reset
” switch. The lter sign of unit
is turned OFF and the time before the next lter
cleaning starts accumulating.
(4) Attach the air lter.
After the air lter is cleaned with water and
dried, reattach with the “FRONT” indicators
in the proper position.
Be sure to attach the air lter.
If the indoor unit is operated without the air lter, it
may cause malfunction of the indoor unit.
