5 Servicing schedule
The following is a list of maintenance procedures that
must be performed on the ride-on mower. Most points
not described in this workshop manual can be found in
the operator’s manual.
* = General maintenance done by the operator.
O = The instructions are given in this workshop manual.
X = The instructions are not given in this workshop
manual.
Note: If more than one time interval is identified in the
table, the shortest time interval is for the first
maintenance only.

Make sure that nuts and screws are tightened *
Make sure that there are no fuel or oil leaks *
Clean the product X
Clean the inner surface of the cutting deck, around the blades X
Clean around the muffler X
Make sure that the cold air intake of the engine is not blocked X
Make sure that the safety devices are not defective X
Examine and do a test of the brakes *
Do a check of the engine oil level O
Do a check of the oil level in the transmission O
Do a check of the steering cables O
Examine the blades in the cutting deck X
Clean the cutting deck, below the belt covers and below the cutting
deck
X
Make sure that the tire pressure is correct O O
Do a check of the parking brake O
Change the engine oil O O
Change the oil filter X X
Clean the air filter X
Change the air filter X
Change the fuel filter X
Do a check of the parallelism of the cutting deck O O
Lubricate the belt adjuster. X X
Examine and adjust the steering cables O O
Examine the muffler and heat deflector O
Examine the cutting deck for damages O
Change the spark plug O
Adjust the parking brake. O
Do a check of and adjust the throttle wire O
Clean the cooling fins on the engine and the transmission O
