8 Repair instructions
8.1 Chassis
8.1.1 To remove the covers
8.1.1.1 To remove the engine cover
1. Fold the seat forward.
2. Release the clip on the engine cover with the tool
attached to the ignition key.
3. Fold the engine cover rearward.
8.1.1.2 To remove the front cover
1. Release the clip on the front cover with the tool
attached to the ignition key.
2. Lift off the front cover.
8.1.1.3 To remove the right footrest plate
1. Turn the knob on the reverse pedal (A) to remove it.
2. Remove the 3 screws (B) and remove the footrest
plate.
8.1.1.4 To remove the left footrest plate
• Remove the 3 screws and remove the footrest plate.
8.1.1.5 To remove the transmission cover
• Remove the 2 screws and remove the transmission
cover.
8.1.1.6 To remove the frame tunnel cover
1. Remove the 2 screws and remove the frame tunnel
cover.
8.1.2 Throttle cable
8.1.2.1 To do a check of the throttle cable
Make sure that the engine speed changes when the
throttle is changed. Do a check that the engine gets the
correct speed at full throttle. See
