15 Measure the resistance between the
wiring to the pedal plate pin 2 and the
negative battery terminal. If the lift
lever is in the top position, the resist-
ance must be low.
Repair the cable or re-
place the wiring.
16 Do a check that the grounding point
on the engine is fully tightened.
Tighten the ground ca-
ble.
The start motor operates
correctly but the product
does not start.
Wiring fault. 1 Do a check that the yellow cable to
the engine gets voltage from the bat-
tery when the key switch is in ignition
position.
Repair the cable or re-
place the wiring.
2 Do a check that the grounding point
on the engine is fully tightened.
Tighten the ground ca-
ble.
The product stops when
the parking brake is re-
leased.
Defective seat
microswitch.
1 Measure the resistance between the
black cable to the motor and ground.
Without an operator in the seat, the
resistance must be low. The resist-
ance must be high when there is an
operator in the seat.
Do a check of the seat
microswitch and connec-
tor, replace if necessary
The product stops when
the operator lifts from
the seat with the parking
brake applied.
Lift lever in
lowered posi-
tion.
1 Do a check that the microswitch
changes the position when the lift lev-
er is lifted.
Replace the micro-
switch.
Defective
parking brake
microswitch.
2 Do a check of the parking brake mi-
croswitch.
Replace the micro-
switch.
The product does not
stop when the operator
lifts from the seat with-
out releasing the parking
brake.

1 Do a check of the parking brake mi-
croswitch.
Replace the micro-
switch.
Defective seat
microswitch.
2 Measure the resistance between the
black cable to the motor and ground.
