      If the JPI Avionics Display shows 'BAD-PRB', it indicates a bad probe. This is due to erratic reading and may be a poor electrical connection. Swap probes to troubleshoot.

      If the JPI Avionics Display shows 'NO - COM' message and ‘xxx REQ’, ‘XXX RES’ AND ‘XXX MPG’ are all missing from the scan, communications are received by EDM and the Auto-Protocol setup is in process. Verify correct output format setup in GPS receiver; check GPS connections.

      If the JPI Avionics Display shows 'NO - SIG' message and ‘xxx REQ’, ‘XXX RES’ AND ‘XXX MPG’ are all missing from the scan, it means the GPS receiver has insufficient signal for valid data. Check GPS signal.
