Adjustment Procedures Results of Improper Adjustment
1) Remove the top cover, locus cut base 3 and exhaust slot
support 4.
2) Loosen vertical adjustment nut 1 and move vertical adjustment
pin 2 to a proper position.
3) After the adjustment, stop locus cut base 3 and exhaust slot
support 4 at the position as shown in the figure.
™ When the position of vertical
adjustment pin 2 is changed,
the vertical momentum of top
feed dog changes.
™ When vertical adjustment pin 2
is moved toward the top end of
vertical adjustment arm, the
momentum is decreased and
when it is moved to the root,
momentum is increased.
™ When the vertical momentum is
increased, jumping occurs and
noise may occur at high speed.
