6.5. Filling refrigerant
Refrigerant / Filling data / Evaporation temperatures
When filling refrigerant, an important factor to ensure proper cooling performance is the
evaporation temperature. The correct filling volume is dependent from the evaporation temperature
and can be verified only by refilling the circuit.
Filling volume/evaporation temperature are to be determined at:
Mains voltage: 230 V or 115 V
Ambient temperature: +20 °C
Medium water: +20 °C (with circulation)
Running time: 1 to 1.5 hours
Higher evaporation = higher cooling capacity
Lower evaporation = lower cooling capacity
