once you have secured a reliable emer-
gency exit (something that must always
be checked carefully!) or stop it before
the alarm goes off by softly pressing
the test/stop button (Illus. 1 point d). It
is recommended to then ventilate the
room properly to avoid setting off the
alarm again.
Please keep a distance of at least 2
meters from electronic, radio-based
devices (such as WLAN router, baby
phones, radio loudspeaker, radio came-
ra, base station of wireless telepho-
nes, mobile telephones, microwave,
radio transmitters/receivers of all kinds
(radio remote operators) etc.) while
deciding the installation position of the
smoke alarm device with radio link,
since such devices can disrupt the radio
signal of the smoke alarm device with
radio link.
If this minimum distance of two meters
is not kept on a regular and continuous
basis, it can cause disruptions in the
radio signals of the smoke alarm device
with radio link, which may also cause
the battery to discharge prematurely.
Assembly
The smoke alarm device with radio link
will be xed on the place of assembly
with a magnetic holder (Illus. 1 point b).
This magnetic holder can be fastened
to the ceiling in two ways as described
below. Please note that the magnetic
holder has a strong magnetic force only
on one side.
