provided double-sided adhesive tape
and press it rmly, smoothly and snugly
on the entire metallic surface of the
smoke alarm device with radio link.
b) Now remove the second protecti-
ve lm of the double-sided adhesive
tape and press the device gently on the
magnetic holder described above in (I)
(Illus. 1 point b).
The device will nally adhere after
about 72 hours.
Drilling
Leave the adhesive tape on the mag-
netic holder. Make a hole in the instal-
lation position and guide the dowel pin
provided into the drilled hole. Now
guide the provided counter-sunk screw
through the backside of the magnetic
holder shown in illustration 2 so that
the screw nds a level bed in the mag-
netic holder (Illus. 1 point b) while tur-
ning in the dowel pin (burr the screw
the perforated hole). The screw must
be turned in completely in the slot of
the magnetic holder (Illus. 1 point b) to
ensure the device is attached securely.
Fasten the screw in such a way that
the magnetic holder does not bend or
deform.
