Connection test between a radio group and
collective radio group
The correct connection of a radio
group with the collective radio group
can be checked very easily.
This test can only be carried out by a
smoke alarm device with radio link of
a radio group (e.g. residence) but on
from a smoke alarm device with radio
link of a collective radio group (e.g.
stairwell).
For this, press the test/stop button
(Illus. 1 point d) of a smoke alarm de-
vice with radio link of the radio group
until the third signal (approx. 20 se-
conds). Release the test/stop button
after the third signal, otherwise the
connection test cannot be completed.
With the rst signal, the test result of
the smoke alarm device with radio link
whose test/stop button (Illus. 1 point d)
you have pressed will be displayed.
Keep the test/stop-button pressed until
the third signal tone, then release the
button.
The third signal shows the test of all
devices that have a connection to a
collective radio group with this smoke
alarm device with radio link/radio group.
All smoke alarm devices with radio links
of the collective radio group give out
a signal.
Please note that this test must be car-
ried out separately for all other radio
groups connected with the collective
radio group.
This test needs to be repeated every
3-6 months in order to test the connec-
tion between the radio group(s) and the
collective radio group.
