the statutory obligation of guarantee
void, it will also mean that the device
can and may not be used as it is speci-
ed to! Please do not open the device.
It may cause damage to the device.
Battery need not be changed and is
technically not required.
Please do not place the device directly
in the sunlight or exceeding heat to
prevent the included battery before
damage.
Please protect the device, in particu-
lar while renovating the building, but
also generally from moisture, cold, heat,
dust, ne dust, spider and insects, grea-
se, nicotine and varnish vapours and
painting materials such as wall colours,
adhesives and dirt of any kind.
During renovation, construction and
grinding works, the smoke alarm device
with radio link (if possible) must be re-
moved by a slight vertical pull from the
magnetic holder (Illus. 1 point b) and
stored safely, possibly covered with an
appropriate cover.
After ending the works, afx the smoke
alarm devices with radio links in their
original room with the magnetic holder
without delay (Illus. 1 point b) and re-
move the safety cover.
Please note:
The device can send out life-saving war-
ning signals only if it is attached to its
original installation position uncontami-
nated, undamaged and activated.
