• We recommend that you avoid using a stac IP address on an AP. The AP uses the congured stac
informaon whenever it reboots, and you cannot recongure the AP unl it connects to the network.
If you need to correct the IP address, you'll need to reset the AP to the factory-default conguraon.
If you must use a stac IP address, we recommend that you use a DHCP IP address during the inial
setup. Before assigning a stac IP address, ensure that:
• You've reserved the stac IP address for the AP.
• The switch port can reach the stac IP address.
