8 Transport and environmentally friendly disposal
In order to protect the JURA from frost during transport, the system
must be emptied.
Precondition:‘Please select product:’ is displayed.
T Carefully pull the cappuccino frother down and off.
T Place a receptacle under the connector of the cappuccino
frother.
T Press the
‘1 portion milk’ button.
‘Machine is heating.’
As soon as the machine has heated up, ‘Please select pro-
duct:’
appears.
T Press the
‘1 portion milk’ button again.
‘1 portion milk’, hot steam is discharged from the connector.
T Remove and empty the water tank.
 g T Turn the Rotary Switch until
‘60sec.’ is displayed.
Steam will continue to be discharged from the connector
until the system is empty.
‘Fill water tank’
 Q T Press the On/Off button.
The JURA is switched off.
Please dispose of old machines in an environmentally neutral way.
