This
camcorder
can
transfer
still
images
to
a
PC
by
using
the
provided
software
when
connected
as
shown
in
the
illustration.
It
is
also
possible
to
transfer
still
images
to
a
PC
with
a
DV
connector-equipped
capture
board
installed.

Make
sure
the
camcorder
and
PC
are
turned
off.

Connect
the
camcorder
to
your
PC
using
the
appropriate
cable
as
shown
in
the
illustration.
Tur
the
camcorder's
Power
Switch
to
“GI”
while
pressing
down
the
Lock
Button
located
on
the
switch
and
turn
on
the
PC.
NOTES:

It
is
recommended
to
use
the
AC
Power
Adapter/
Charger
as
the
power
supply
instead
of
the
battery
pack
(
pg.
9).

Never
connect
the
PC
connection
cable
and
the
DV
cable
simultaneously
to
the
camcorder.
Connect
only
the
cable
you
wish
to
use
to
the
camcorder.

information
cannot
be
captured

possible
to
copy
recorded
scenes

camcorder
onto

video
unit
equipped

a
DV
connector.
This
function
is
called
Digital
Dubbing

39),
which
offers
virtually
no
image
or
sound
deterioration.

all
units
are
tuned
off

DV
cable,

in
the
illustration.

Stll
Playback,
Slow-Motion
Playback,
Fast-Forward
or
Rewind
is
attempted
with
the
camcorder
connected
to
a
video
unit
via
the
DV
connector,
the
image
will
take
on
an
effect
similar
to
a
colored
mosaic
pattern
or
it
will
become
black.
