3.1.7 Removing the CD mechanism assembly
(See Fig. 8)
• Prior to performing the following procedure, remove the front
panel assembly, bottom cover, front chassis assembly, side
panel, rear bracket, main board and CD mechanism board.
(1) Remove the three screws J attaching the CD mechanism.
(2) Take out the CD mechanism assembly.

3.1.8 Removing the front board (See Figs. 9 to 11)
• Prior to performing the following procedures, remove the front
panel assembly.
(1) From the back side of the front panel assembly, remove the
four screws K attaching the rear cover to the front panel
assembly. (See Fig.9.)
(2) Release the nine joints f attaching the rear cover to the
front panel assembly. (See Fig.10.)
(3) Take out the front board from the front panel assembly.
(See Fig.11.)
Caution:
Take care not to lose the springs.
