What to do if there is no sound from my JVC KD-Lh401 Car Receiver speakers?

  If you cannot hear sound from the speakers, there might be several reasons. First, check that the volume isn't set too low and adjust it. Second, verify all the connections and cords are correctly attached. If the microcomputer is malfunctioning due to noise, press the reset button on the control panel. Also, ensure the control panel is properly attached; remove it, clean the connectors, and reattach it. Finally, check for any obstructions to the control panel's movement and press the reset button; if that doesn't work, inspect the installation for issues like screws that are too long.

Why is the SSM (Strong-station Sequential Memory) automatic preset not working on my JVC KD-Lh401?

  If the SSM automatic preset isn't working, it could be due to weak signals. In this case, try storing the stations manually. Also, make sure the aerial is firmly connected.
