3.4 Cassette mechanism section
• Prior to performing the following procedures, remove the cassette deck mechanism assembly. (See "3.1.16 Removing the cassette
deck mechanism assembly".)
3.4.1 Removing the R/P head
(See Figs.1 and 2)
(1) Remove the screw A attaching the R/P head.
(2) Remove the screw B attaching the R/P head.
Note:
After attaching the R/P head, perform the electrical adjust-
ment. (See "ADJUSTMENT" section.)
3.4.2 Removing the erase head
(See Fig.1)
Remove the screw C attaching the erase head.

(1) Pull out the pinch roller stopper.
(2) Pull out the pinch roller.
