Removal of Main Parts
B Rear Cabinet Ass’y
1.
Remove the ten screws Qa), (2) and G3), (4) and
(6) retaining the Rear Cabinet Ass’y.
. Pull off the Rear Cabinet Ass’y from the Front Cabinet
Ass’y.
. Remove the Connector (CN901) and the Antenna ter-
minal (TP1) from Amplifier and Tuner Boards.
BCD Unit Ass’y

Remove two screws 6) and @ retaining both
Cassette door. (Fig. 7-2)
. Remove two screws retaining both cassette
door, (Fig. 7-3).
. Push CN-1 connector and remove two wires from
Tuner Board Ass’y, and Amplifier Board Ass’‘y.
. Pull CD unit forward to front.
. Remove four screws @) and retaining CD
Control Circuit Board Ass’y. (Fig. 7-3)
* Be careful not to touch or exert excessive pressure
on the pickup section.

. Remove CD unit from Front Cabinet Ass’y
2. Remove four screws (9) and retaining CD Con-
trol Circuit Board Ass’y. (Fig. 7-3)
Remove four screws 27) } retaining CD

@ Tuner Board Ass’y (Fig. 7-3)

Remove tuning knob.
Remove two screws a3 retaining front cabinet
ass’y. >
. Pull out tuner board ass’y.
. Remove the earth wire.
. Remove four screws a1) and a2 retaining tuner
chassis.
