H Amplifier Board Ass’y (Fig. 7-5)
1. Remove three knobs (power, tape select, function)
retaining unit.
2. Remove three screws and a5) retaining front
cabinet ass’y.
3. Remove two screws and a? retaining front
cabinet.
4. Remove two connectors CN-701 and CN702 from
amplifier board ass’y.
-- Warning
When replacing heads, be sure to turn the head wires
of the A and B mechanisms two turns to the right
before wiring.
@ Mechanism Ass’y
1. Remove three screws and retaining

@ Speaker Unit
1. Remove the CD unit Ass’y and the Tuner Board Ass’y
and the Amplifier Board Ass’y.
2. Next, remove eight screws retaining Front Cabinet.
@ Power Supply Board Ass’y (Fig. 7-9)
1. Remove two screws 5) retaining power trans.
2. Next, remove three screws 6) retaining AC Socket.
