Setting
1
Set [LEVEL]
Move the cursor (Z) to the [LEVEL] item, shift the
[PAN/TILT] lever to the left and right and set the
ALEVELB (motion detection sensitivity).
The setting value is from
5 (low sensitivity) to 5 (high
sensitivity).
2 Set [RESTART TIME]
Move the cursor (Z) to the [RESTART TIME] item, shift
the [PAN/TILT] lever to the left and right and set the
duration (RESTART TIME) to return to the home
position when there is no movement.
The camera will return to the home position after the
duration set in ARESTART TIMEB has passed.
Memo
When the [TIME] setting (A Page 31) in [AUTO RETURN]
item is smaller than the time set in [RESTART TIME], the
camera operation will follow the setting in [AUTO
RETURN].
Motion Detect (Tracking) may be difficult under the
following conditions.
When multiple moving objects are in the same screen.
When there is a flickering light source in the screen.
When the speed of the moving object is fast.
When the moving object is big or small.
When the object has no contrast.
Dark images can be improved with the Increased
Electronic Sensitivity function but the response may be
slow.
Note
The Motion Detect feature is not designed to prevent
thefts or fire disasters. Our company shall not be liable for
any inconveniences or damages that occur.
The Motion Detect function of this unit detects changes in
brightness and movement. As such, depending on
changes in the illumination, it may or may not detect
movement of objects having the same color as the
background color. It may be difficult to detect objects with
very slow movement. Check the operating conditions
thoroughly beforehand and configure the settings such
that there will not be any misoperation or omission of
detection.
This function applies to home position screen when
[STABILIZER] item is set to AOFFB. When [STABILIZER]
is set to AONB, as the screen is enlarged, it will also
respond to motion of image which is not shown on the
screen. This is the specification of this unit, not a
malfunction.
