3. Intended use and parts
3.1 Intended use
 The Ergo 2/Ergo 3 series with 20″/24″ rear wheels is a self-propelled wheelchair,
which can either be pushed by an attendant or by the user.
 The Ergo 2/Ergo 3 series with 14″ rear wheels is a transit wheelchair, which can be
pushed by an attendant only.
 The Ergo 2/Ergo 3 series is suitable for users up to 125 kg in weight. However, if the
wheelchair is equipped with Push & Pull attendant brake, it is only suitable for users
up to 115 kg in weight. Please refer to the labeling on the wheelchair or the
Specifications chapter for details.
 The Ergo 2/Ergo 3 series has an extremely durable aluminum alloy frame with tough
accessories and does not suffer in dramatic extremes of temperature (neither the
user nor attendant need to touch metal parts in normal use).
 This wheelchair is designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
 The front casters and rear wheels have PU tyres (tires) for greater durability.
 The S-Ergo system provides pressure relief, stabilization and reduced sliding.
