4.1.8 Adjusting the footplate height
1. To adjust the footplate height, use the KARMA tool provided to loosen and remove
the bolt and nut at the side of the footrest arm.
2. Adjust the footplate to the desired height, re-insert the bolt and make sure the
footplate is firm. Then, tighten the nut as a locknut from outside. (See Figure
4.19.)
3. The footplate height must be at least 50 mm from the ground. (See Figure 4.20.)
NOTE
Make sure that the footplate height is adjusted properly according to the user’s calf
length to reduce pressure on the body.
CAUTION
If the swing-away footrest is adjusted to the shortest length, please keep the bolt
outside and the nut inside, so they won’t be interfered with the heel loops.
