4.1.2 Folding
To fold your wheelchair, follow the steps below:
1. Flip up the footplates. (See Figure 4.7.)
2. Pull up the seat upholstery by holding its central portion of the front and rear ends.
(See Figure 4.8.)
3. Fold down the backrest by pressing the backrest levers on both sides. (See Figure
4.9–4.10.)
4. Folding is now completed.
CAUTION
Be careful not to get your fingers caught when folding the wheelchair.
4.1.3 Flip-back armrest (for the Ergo 3 series)
1. You may flip back the armrest by putting your hand across the tube and pressing
the lever located at the front base of armrest. Upon pulling the lever upwards, you
can lift and flip the armrest backwards. (See Figure 4.11.)
2. To r e-assemble the armrest, push down the armrest until it clicks into place. (See
Figure 4.12.)
