4.5.2 Method of restraint
The Ergo 2/Ergo 3 series was tested with four-point webbing systems. Please refer to
the restraint manufacturer’s user guide for further details of its operation.
4.5.3 Fitting the front restraints
1. Connect the straps around the wheelchair frame and front caster bracket as
pictured below. The anchor point is marked with a yellow sticker .

2. Take the brakes off and reverse the wheelchair to tension the front straps. Apply
wheelchair brakes (the brakes should be left on during transport).
4.5.4 Fitting the rear restraints
1. Attach rear straps into rail approximately 300 mm behind the wheelchair backrest.
2. Attach the hooks to the rear frame of the wheelchair as pictured below. The
anchor point is marked with a yellow sticker . Tension the restraint until the
wheelchair is secure.
