5.24 Install the Anti-Tippers
5.24.1 To Fit
Depress the rear button and insert it into the rear of frame.
The forward locating button must engage into the retaining hole in the
frame.
5.24.2 To Detach
Depress the rear button and pull it out.
CAUTION
KARMA recommends that you should install anti-tippers in any occasion to
prevent you tip over.
5.25 Transportation
5.25.1 KP-20.2 and KP-25.2 have been crash tested to ISO7176-19 and
is suitable to use as a seat in vehicles that has been adapted for
this purpose. The wheelchair must be securely restrained as
described in this manual. KP-20.2 and KP-25.2 were tested with a
four point webbing system. For further information on the use of
wheelchair restraints, please refer to the manufacturer's user
guide.
5.25.2 KARMA always recommend that the user transfers to the vehicle
seat, because using a wheelchair as a seat in a vehicle does not
provide the equivalent level of safety of a vehicle seating system.
