5.3 Insert the handpiece or contra-angle handpiece drill bit.
Note
Only use handpiece or contra-angle handpiece drill bits that correspond
to DIN EN ISO 1797-1 type 1 and type 2, are made of steel or hard metal
and meet the following criteria:
- Shaft diameter: 2.334 to 2.35 mm
with bit stop:
- Shaft clamping length: 12 mm
- Shaft clamping length: max. 22 mm
without bit stop:
- Shaft clamping length: min. 30 mm
- Shaft clamping length: max. 44.5 mm
