Perform the following steps to replace the line fuse:
1. Carefully grasp and squeeze together the locking tabs that secure the fuse
carrier to the fuse holder.
2. Pull out the fuse carrier, and replace the fuse with the type specified in
Table 17-1.
CAUTION To prevent instrument damage, use only the fuse type
specified in
Table 17-1.
3. Reinstall the fuse carrier.
If the power line fuse continues to blow, a circuit malfunction exists and must be
corrected. Return the unit to Keithley Instruments for repair.

Front panel tests
There are two front panel tests: one to test the functionality of the front panel keys
and one to test the display.
KEYS test
The KEYS test lets you check the functionality of each front panel key. Perform
the following steps to run the KEYS test.
1. Display the MAIN MENU by pressing the MENU key.
2. Select TEST, and press ENTER or the Rotary Knob to display the SELF-
TEST MENU.
3. Select DISPLAY-TESTS, and press ENTER or the Rotary Knob to display
the following menu:

KEYS DISPLAY_PATTERNS
4. Select KEYS, and press ENTER or the Rotary Knob to start the test. When
a key is pressed, the label name for that key will be displayed to indicate
