General Product Information
FieldFox Options
2-
Option 212, 1-Port Mixed-Mode S-Parameters
Option 212 enables mixed-mode S-parameter reflection measurements in
FieldFox's network analyzer mode. Mixed-mode S-parameters are also knows
as balanced measurements.
Measurements:
— Scc11: common mode reflection
— Sdd11: differential mode reflection
— Scd11: differential mode stimulus, common mode response
— Sdc11: common mode stimulus, differential mode response
FieldFox's mixed-mode S-parameter measurements require the use of the
default factory calibration or a user 2-port calibration.
Option 215, TDR Cable Measurements
Option 215 adds time domain reflectometry (TDR) measurements to CAT
mode. The measurements include TDR (linear rho) and TDR impedance (ohm).
TDR measurements are useful in not only identifying the location of faults
along cables, but also the nature of the fault. Resistive, inductive and
capacitive faults will each have a different response. These differences help
line-sweep technicians in the trouble-shooting process.
Option 220, Tracking Generator - Full Band
Option 220 allows easy and accurate scalar stimulus/response measurements
on active and passive components, cables, connectors and antennas. The
full-band tracking generator source can also be decoupled to act as a
stand-alone source that can be used to stimulate an active or passive
component, optionally using the spectrum analyzer for measurement.
Option 233, Spectrum Analyzer
Option 233 adds a high performance, full-band spectrum analyzer including
four traces, different detector types, radio standard selection and flexible limit
lines. The option offers channel power measurements, AM/FM tune and listen,
field strength measurements, antenna factors and frequency counter markers.
Also included is a full-band tracking generator.
Option 235, Preamplifier for Spectrum Analyzer
Option 235 increases the spectrum analyzer sensitivity, reducing the DANL to
-155 dBm.
Option 233 is prerequisite.
