Before You Begin

Handling and Storage
Do — Keep connectors clean Do Not — Touch mating-plane surfaces
— Extend sleeve or connector nut — Set connectors contact-end down

Visual Inspection
Do — Inspect all connectors carefully Do Not — Use a damaged connector - ever

Connector Cleaning

Gaging Connectors

1. Cleaning connectors with alcohol shall only be done with the instrument’s power cord removed, and
in a well-ventilated area. Allow all residual alcohol moisture to evaporate, and the fumes to dissipate
prior to energizing the instrument.
