Both the [SENSe:]<function>:NPLC and [SENSe:]<function>:APERture commands control the instru-
ment's integration time. When using both commands (not recommended), whichever command is
sent last will override the other command and set the integration time. Sending the
[SENSe:]<function>:APERture command sets the [SENSe:]<function>:APERture:ENABled command
to 1 (ON); sending [SENSe:]<function>:NPLC sets it to 0 (OFF).
l This parameter is set to its default value after a Factory Reset (*RST) or Instrument Preset
(SYSTem:PRESet).
[SENSe:]CURRent[:DC]:APERture:ENABled {ON|1|OFF|0}
[SENSe:]CURRent[:DC]:APERture:ENABled?
Enables the setting of integration time in seconds (called aperture time) for dc current measurements. If
aperture time mode is disabled (default), the integration time is set in PLC (power-line cycles).
Parameter Typical Return
{ON|1|OFF|0}. Default: OFF. 0(OFF)or1(ON)
Enable aperture time mode, set the aperture time to 300ms:

l The CONFigure:CURRent[:DC], MEASure:CURRent[:DC]?, [SENSe:]CURRent[:DC]:NPLC, and
[SENSe:]CURRent[:DC]:RESolution commands disable the aperture time mode, and select an integ-
ration time in number of power line cycles.
