3 Configure the instrument as shown below, depending on whether the
calibration step is 2-wire or 4-wire.
4 Enter the actual applied input resistance (see “Adjustments” on page 41).
a Successful completion of each adjustment value is indicated by the
message CAL SUCCEEDED flashing in the display.
b If a problem is encountered, the display will flash the message CAL FAILED.
Check the input value, range, function, and entered adjustment value to
correct the problem and repeat the adjustment step.
5 Repeat these steps for each gain adjustment point shown in the table.
6 Store the new calibration constants (see “Storing the Calibration Constants”
on page 41).
Do not use stacked BNC connectors in any measurement with voltages
exceeding 40 V. This is because they have exposed metal, which can be
hazardous to the user.
