Assemble units as described herein only. To do otherwise
may result in instability. All screws, nuts and bolts must be
tightened securely and must be checked periodically after
assembly. Failure to assemble properly, or to secure parts
may result in assembly failure and personal injury.

Seat Replacement

Impress Seat Removal
1. Place the Impress Task Chair upside
down on a hard, sturdy surface
(table) with the Impress seat resting
on the surface and the backrest
portion hanging down over the edge
of the table (Figure 1).
2. Remove the two rear exposed

x 1” Phillips hex head washer
screws securing the seat to the
seat slider. Press the seat slider
mechanism lever down and slide the
seat-control mechanism forward until
the remaining two front mounting
screws are exposed on the seat
slider. Remove the two remaining

4
x 1” Phillips hex head washer
screws securing the seat to the slider
(Figures 1 & 2).
Note: The seat slider must be
adjusted by activating lever to expose
the front or rear

x 1” Phillips hex
head washer screws that secure the
seat to the seat slider.
3. Remove the damaged seat from
under the task chair. Place the chair
upright on the floor (Figure 3).

Summary

Impress Seat Removal

Step 1: Position Chair Upside Down

Place the Impress Task Chair upside down on a hard surface with the Impress seat resting on the surface.

Step 2: Remove Rear Screws

Remove the two rear screws, adjust the slider mechanism, and remove the two front screws securing the seat.

Step 3: Remove Damaged Seat

Remove the damaged seat from under the task chair and place the chair upright on the floor.

Impress Seat Replacement

Step 1: Position Replacement Seat

Place the replacement seat upside down on a hard surface with the back facing the edge of the table.

Step 2: Align Chair Base

Place the chair upside down on the replacement seat, aligning mounting holes on the seat slider with holes on the seat base.

Step 3: Secure Seat Slider

Insert screws through the seat slider mounting holes and into the seat, securing the seat slider mechanism.

Step 4: Test Chair Function

Place the task chair upright and test its functionality after replacement.
