To perform a factory reset, hold down the push button
for 3 seconds to enter the Presets Menu. Then, hold
down the push button and double tap Touch. After
about 5 seconds Ribbons will reboot on its own.
Do not remove power during the reset process.
Firmware updates
Occasionally we may release updated rmware to
address bugs or improve features. If you believe you’ve
discovered a bug you can report it by emailing
support@kinotoneaudio.com
The latests and greatest rmware can be always be
found on the Development Blog, which is linked under
the Firmware Updates tab on the Ribbons product page

You’ll also nd a video guide from our YouTube channel
that walks you through the rmware update process. It’s
super easy and only takes a few minutes — you basically
just play a .wav le into the device.
MIDI, CV, expression control
All of Ribbons parameters can be controlled using
MIDI, CV, or an expression pedal. And when we say all of
them, we mean all of them.
Use the TRS MIDI input to sync Repeater or the
four-track looper to MIDI clock. Ribbons defaults to
MIDI type A, with the option to switch to type B or type
CBA by conguring internal jumpers.
Map the CV / EXP input to one parameter or many
parameters and control them using a eurorack
system or an expression controller.
