7. SELECTING THE DRIVING SPEED
(1) Main Shift Lever
Four speeds can be selected by
operating a single lever. It is the syn-
chromesh type, and the gear can be
shifted by disengaging the clutch dur-
ing driving.
(2) Forward / Reverse Shift Lever
The forward/reverse shift lever shifts
the power to drive forward when it is
pushed forward and to drive backward
when it is pulled back without operat-
ing the main and range shift levers.
Stop the tractor and depress
the clutch before you move the
forward/reverse shift lever.
Sudden gear change can cause
transmission damage.
