(5) Front Wheel Drive Switch
The front wheel drive can be operated
conveniently by ON/OFF switch opera-
tion as it is the hydraulic type.
Turn on the front wheel drive switch
to engage the front wheel drive and
turn off the front wheel drive switch to
disengage.
Front wheel driving is convenient
for following works.
1. When pulling the trailer, requiring
signicant traction, or when using
the front-end loader in wet areas.
2. When working on sandy soils.
3. When working on hard ground
where the tractor is pushed forward
by the rotary tiller.
To avoid personal injury:
Do not turn on the front wheel
drive switch when driving on a
road.
This may cause sudden stop of
the tractor.

•
CAUTION
Depress the clutch pedal before
you turn on the front wheel
drive switch.
Care should be taken when you
are using the front wheel drive
since it may cause premature
wear of the tires.
•
•
IMPORTANT
The brake will not be applied
when the break pedal is de-
pressed strongly with no clutch
depressed since the axle rota-
tion force is not signicant at
creep speed.
