6. Assembly and Disassembly
This radio is sophisticated with small and precise mechanical structures. Please be careful while
assembling or disassembling the radio.
6.1.Separating RF Unit and Control Panel
To separate the RF part and the control panel, take the following steps.
1. Screw down the eight M3*16 torx round-head machine screws on the bottom aluminium-alloy
housing fastening the top aluminium-alloy housing, and remove the top aluminium-alloy housing
together with the waterproofing ring of the RF unit.
2. Screw down the two M2.5*5 mushroom-head torx machine screws fastening the front housing and
the aluminium-alloy holder.
3. Separate the RF unit and the front part of the radio, remove the FPC connecting the RF board and
the control panel, remove the speaker cable, and then separate the RF unit and the front part.
