18. RX BER
1) Power on the radio and
disable TX. Connect the
RF IN interface of the
radio to the RF OUT
interface of the tester
using a standard adapter
and a HF cable.
2) Set the tester to DMR
mode, set Transmit to the
receiving frequency, Lvl:
-119dBm, and select “STD
IB 511(.153).

antenna
interface of the
radio to RF IN
interface
1) Run the debugging software on
the PC, and set the tester to
adjustment mode;
2) Double click [RX BER], and click
[Low Frequency];
3) Observe the BER value on the
PC;
4) Switch to medium and high
frequencies respectively, and repeat
the above steps.
For -119dBm, BER
is < 5%
