Failure Description
Troubleshooting
Replace the fuse.
2 Communication failure
A. Make sure the channels the both radios communicate
on are of the same frequency.
B. The radios use different CTCSS/DCS signaling codes.
Set the same one via PC.
C. Out of communication range.
3 Cannot receive signals
A. Poor contact of antenna. Screw up the antenna
connector.
B. Low sensitivity. Fine tune debugging mode.
C. Too high squelch level, so that squelch cannot be
enabled. Set a lower level via PC.

Red light on during
transmitting, but
no voice received
A. No power output by tube power amplifier. Replace
amplifier.
B. Malfunction of microphone. Replace microphone.

Green light on but no voice
during receiving
Malfunction of speaker. Replace speaker.

Programming failure
Check wiring.
7
Low voice
Check volume and MIC gain via PC Tool.
