For transmitters whose maximum rated power is not listed in the
table above, the recommended safety distance d in metres (m) can
be determined using the equation in the corresponding column,
where P is the maximum rated power of the transmitter in watts
(W) according to the information from the manufacturer of the
transmitter.
Notes: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz the higher frequency range
applies. These guidelines may not apply to all cases. The propaga-
tion of electromagnetic variables is affected by absorption and
reflection from buildings, objects and people.
