Dehydrating
(Single/Upper Oven)
Your KitchenAid Thermal-Convection TM
Oven can be used to dehydrate fruits
and vegetables.
1. Prepare food as recommended.
2. Arrange food on drying racks.*
3. Turn the Selector to CONVECTION
COOK.
4. Set the Temperature Control to
WARM. It may be necessary to turn
the Temperature Control to the
right of the WARM setting to
achieve the recommended
temperature. Place an oven
thermometer in the oven to be
certain that the correct temperature
is obtained.

*Racks are not included with oven.

Defrosting
(Single/Upper Oven)
1. Place frozen food on baking sheet.
2. Turn the Selector to CONVECTION
COOK.
IMPORTANT: Do not turn the
Temperature Control on. The fan will
come on to accelerate natural
defrosting of the food without heat.
To avoid sickness and food
waste, do not allow defrosted
food to remain in the oven
for more than two hours.
