11. Malfunctions / Trouble shooting

The basis for trouble shooting activities are the circuit diagram and the
flow diagram
.
11 Faults / Trouble shooting
11.1 Malfunctions at the temperature controller
F1H = Sensor for the reference input: resistance too high Sensor broken
F1L = Sensor for the reference input: resistance too low Short circuit at the sensor
EP = EEPROM error in the data store (to be repaired at the factory)
11.2 Displays
Signal lamp -fault
alarm- lights up-
Motor protection
switch has tripped
Compressor and pump
may have tripped by
excess current
Switch on motor protection switch after repair
Safety series has
tripped
High pressure
Cooling water
temperature too high or
flow too low
Check cooling water flow,
Check cooling water controller
Water temperature too
high
Drain off water and replace by fresh water
Reduce consumer input, resp turn off
Replace pressure switch,
call for the customer service!
Every high-pressure fault must be reset at the pressure switch
manually.
Water evaporated,
resp. leakage Tank
empty,

Replenish water, resp. repair leakage Fill water
into the tank up to – Max – mark
Motor protection switch
