NOTICE
Hardware damage! Engine and
generator set may use both American
Standard and metric hardware. Use
the correct size tools to prevent
rounding of bolt heads and nuts.
NOTICE
When replacing hardware, do not
substitute with inferior grade
hardware. Screws and nuts are
available in different hardness ratings.
American Standard hardware uses a
seriesofmarkingsandmetrichardware
uses a numeric system to indicate
hardness. Check markings on bolt
head and nuts for identification.
NOTICE
Canadian installations only:
For standby service connect output of
generator set to a suitably rated
transfer switch in accordance with
Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1.
NOTICE
This generator set does not comply
with United States Coast Guard
(USCG) requirements and must not
beusedformarineapplications. Use
onlygeneratorsetsspecifiedformarine
use in marine installations. USCG
Regulation 33CFR183 requires a
generator set to be ignition protected
when used in a gasoline-fueled
environment.
